        That's weird.

        My grandfather has told me about one when he was a kid down around Menard.

        I read a story about one harvested in Wisconsin or Illinois a few years ago. It was something like our TPWD blotter, but it made the rounds on the interweb. I seem to remember the hunter was not cited for the mistake of taking a doe during buck season in that area.

                      The second deer I harvested in 2003 was a unicorn female. She had a 5 inch spike on one side. In many case, a doe with antler will remain in velvet and never shed. When you see a doe with polished antler it is more likely a buck whose testes/penis did not grow properly.

                        I would keep her in the herd and see what kinds of crazy kids she throws...could end up with some cool looking offspring if you are in to non typical...
