Well new to me DSLR

Well I might as well let the cat out of the bag now, as I've had this for several days now.... I got offered a great deal on a Canon EOS 30D and with my current lenses from my Minolta XE-7 a simple MD/MC adapter with glass covers it quite nicely as it will allow me to use my Rokkor-X 85mm and 300mm, Tokina AT-X 35-70mm and several other MF lenses.

Thank you, keep looking as they can be had pretty decent prices with camera body and lens. This one was $200 shipped as you see it, which also included 3 rechargeable battery packs and charger. The nice thing is I'm getting an adapter so I can use the super nice glass I have, for my SLR.

I tell a lot of people to look for a used 30 or 40D as a starter as they're great cameras and the price is right on them. They take great pics and cost so much less than a brand new camera of any model.
