I've been itching to get out there and try my new 5wt. The local ponds aren't satisfying me.

I'm in my late 40's and am still using the same rig I used when I was 12 years old. My parents bought me the rod and reel in Wimberley and I learned to use it on the Blanco along River Rd. Between town and 7A Ranch. Anybody know where I'm talking about? I'd cover a 1/2 mile of river all day long picking up fish and always letting em go. I loved it!
