This is really hard. Everybody really nailed the theme (even the Tomkat). There are so many sentimental favorites. I could honestly make a good argument for every picture on why it should be the winner.

They all nail the theme in one way or another, so that's a tie. My only way to break the tie is just on pure eye appeal and technical execution of the shot. The winning shot is framed in a very pleasing way, and it's tack sharp. Excellent color and exposure. Subject matter isn't bad to look at either. Besides, I'm a sucker for sunsets.

Congrats Cottonwood! That's a beautiful shot. I'd definitely print that one big and hang it on the wall if I'd taken it. Nice!
