Snow Day in Melissa

It started snowing about 730/800am and has been on/off all day transitioning from snow and sleet with a little rain. The kids have had a great time outside so far. As soon as the models started to align a bit, I ordered a few sleds and a snow tube from Amazon. We're lucky to have a decent hill on the backside of our property that the kids have put to good use. They just need to duck to clear the trampoline or ditch the sled before they hit the fence. 😂

The goats refuse to come out of their shed to play, the mini-donkey's aren't fans either but they've gotten out to stretch their legs a bit.

And for those who like to lug their camera kit hunting, the Yeti Panga backpack with an insert makes a great all-weather camera bag.

The amount of time these kids spent outside the past two days is wild! From the time the woke up, they've been outside. Thankfully we've collected enough cold weather/waterproof gear over the years that the kids were able to play without getting too cold. We're going to miss the snow for sure.

The beginnings of the snowman. However, little thought was given to size vs weight and they were unable to stack the parts before they broke apart.
