Help needed from TBH Camera Buffs

I inherited a 35mm Canon AE-1 and other accessories. I'm trying to figure out an approximate value of a zoom lens that was included.

Canon 85-300mm 1:5. I'm looking for a ball park figure or any info.

Hard to say what it's really worth, there aren't very many copies of this lens still out there. Without looking I would have guessed ~$150.

While it doesn't give you an accurate value, there are three of these on ebay for $249-$850. Though you'll be hard pressed to find anyone to spend that much on an FL style lens, IMHO.
