On The Gatepost

Was out to check the hog trap today and this one was on the gatepost. I put it on my wrist for a picture and guess I must have smelled bad as it jumped off.

You don’t see as many of those around as much when I was growing up.

I was in the tripod waiting for hogs a couple of years ago and one crawled on my hand. I began to notice movement in the mesquites and elms around me and realized there were dozens of them in the trees.
