Well, this is my first time to pick the topic. I figure with it being a new year, and this being new to me, I will go with "new" as the theme.

Anything new will work, new to you, new to the world, a new state of mind, or a new type of photography. Get out there and do something new!

I took this one on new years day of the oldest brush and the newest gas well at our ranch. I thought it represented the place pretty well, considering the old rolling prairies that used to cover the place are now dotted with new gas wells.
