    Dec. on the lake

    I saw this feller drop below a point I was on. And I had an idea what he was up too. By the time I saw him feeding, he saw me, and at 60 yards. This was all I could get of him with my mini-DV cam in the still mode. This also makes two weeks in a row on two different lakes that I have seen them here in north Texas. But not the 1st times . I've been trying to get close-up pics of them for the last several years.

              Great Crappie Lake too! When it's too cold for the boat, the Marina can be great. Elmo and Brenda have created a top notch hot spot for crappie fisherman.After deer season,that's where I start fishing.

                Cool. Usually see some on Fairfield Lake also, and even saw one two weeks ago while sitting in a deer stand. Awesome creatures.
