Recently I read a thread on this site discussing filming with dslr cameras. I have always been intrigued by the art behind the lens; just have not taken the hobby on myself. Check out the cinematography for the short film on Campbell's blog. I thought it was beautiful.

Very interesting, mixing video with stills for the time lapse parts.

I was wondering if they set the camera on a timer to get that effect. Looks really cool.

The time lapse effect is when one shoots on continuous for a long time, then a puts the frames together and you have control of the seconds that it passes the eye. The clouds, stars, people are all moving at a very fast pace, but if you slowed it down, it would all look like a slideshow. Awesome work was done in the example used.
