    Just a warning.........

I am about to just feet first into photography. Well, I have been taking pictures (some good, most crap) my whole life. But I am about to get myself a DSLR.

After a long time of turning out crappy pictures with a point and shoot of just about every make and model...............I am stepping up.

So for the warning...... I will be asking a TON of questions!!!

I hope you have some deep pockets my friend because it is somewhat addicting. First year camera, second a longer lens, next a faster lens... fun and expensive hobby! I take mine to the blind every time without fail.

I would say that is an excellent choice for a body and it should be one that you can hang onto for a long time and grow with.
I am actually looking at getting one myself and giving my D80 to my son for christmas. I have thought about going to FX instead of DX but still haven't made up my mind. Do you have one located? Last time I was looking they were out of them on B&H Photo but that was the only place I looked for it.

Anyway congrats on getting a decision made. I will be looking forward to your pixels.

Use both the Cannon 7D and the Nikon D7000
My brother and father just got into. Now our conversations are centered around photography as much as they are hunting!
