    RMNP in pix

Got back yesterday from Colorado. What a shame to come home to 99 degrees.

Got a D90 late last year with a 18-200 lens and have been trying to learn a thing or two.

Nice shots of RMNP. It is loaded with photo oportunities. I had that 18-200 lens on my D200 and sold the combination to another TBH'er. That is a great walk around lens.

I particularly like the bull elk shots above timberline!

wow, those are impressive shots. I think i found the camera to get.

One question, for you or TBH'er that wants to answer it. would this camera be good for sports shots of the boys in tball?

Sure this camera would be great as most DSLR's will. A Nikon D5000 or even a D3000 would work fine. Canon stuff is equally good.

For lenses if its during daylight hours then most lenses will work fine for stopping the action. If at night under the lights you will need a better lens....something like a f2.8 fixed or zoom to stop the action....
