    Free to a Good Home...

I recently had the good fortune to acquire a second Nikon D300 at an unbelievable price. Since I don't need my Nikon D70s anymore, I would like to share my good fortune with someone else here on TBH.

Included in this little deal is the D70s. It's a 6MP DSLR. Back in it's day, it was a top of the line, consumer grade camera. It's a little dated now, but still takes great pics. Included with the camera is an 18-70 f3.5-4.5 zoom lens. It's one of the sharpest kit lenses out there. Of course, it comes with a battery and a charger. I'm also going to throw in a 1GB memory card. You'll get approximately 291 images on it. I can't find the manual, but I do have a link to Nikon's PDF file that contains the manual. (I'll keep on looking for it.)

The camera has a minor glitch though. Occasionally, when you insert the memory card, the camera doesn't recognize it. Popping the card out and reinserting it clears it up.
Hey, the camera's free, so don't complain!

Anyway, I'd like to give this camera to someone that's new to photography and wants to learn. I'll also help answer any questions as best I can.

    First PM gets it!

One of my last pictures with it. That's straight out of the camera. No processing.

Well guys, Blacksunshine was first. Congratulations! That didn't take long.

Edit... Blacksunshine confessed that he already has a DSLR...

So, RGVBowHunter is the new winner.

If you are seriously giving this camera for free, I would love to have it!
I have always wanted to take wildlife photos, just never had the money to buy a good camera or been able to afford all the stuff that goes with it.
