I was wondering if anyone could tell me about Sigma lenses. I was thinking of buying this one, but want to know if there is a better lense with up to 400mm in this price range($1000). I definately want Image Stabilization with it being a 400mm.

what is the intended purpose of this lense. It is not going to be a low light lense. I checked the web link and there are no reviews on it. Not to sure... What else are you looking at. -
I am looking for taking wildlife pics, and scenery pics when we go on vacations. All outdoor, and bright light. I was asking because I don't know anything about these lenses and there were no reviews like you stated.Comment
