Any more info on model of camera and lens choice? I just bought a cannon 60D and would love to be able to get some shots like that. Don't think I am packing enough lense thought!

aj, All these pics were taken with a Canon Rebel Xsi paired with a Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS. If you have the extra $$ the f/2.8 will take much faster pics, excellent for wildlife & low light conditions. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, I am pretty excited about catching photos deer this next year. My SLR shoots video in 1080p so i am excited about filming hunts. Any problems with shutter noise?

Shutter can be a problem, but really depends on your setup (distance, wind etc.). The IS on my lens is pretty noisy too. If you plan on shooting video, you’ll be using a tripod and can turn the IS off.
