The Duck Slough - Pics and a Short Video

The woods and water of my home county in Northeast Texas are a magical place. Every year I carve out a few days of my time to share the marsh with my brother and any other friends we can convince to come along.

This year's trips have been magnificent so far. Not a ton of ducks but that's okay. What matters is the strengthening of the bonds of friendships. Ducks come and go but the memories remain.

Fantastic photos. You are welcome to come with us in west Texas anytime. The backgrounds aren't as pretty, but the sunrises and sunsets are awesome. The green heads are huge and the pintails will take your breath away.
