PP software

I posted on Hillarys post about Nikoners beware but I thougt I would make a seperate post. What software do you use and why do you use it over another brand or version. I would like to milk the best out of my photos and I think some new software would help. Give me your thoughts please.
I know... it's New Years Eve and I am on the GS at 10:30, I live an exciting life.

Lightroom 3. It's easy to use, unlike photoshop. It will pretty much do everything except work with layers.

Ditto Scotty's comments. I have not upgraded to LR3 yet, still using 2.7 but LR is very intuitive and pretty easy to get the hang of.

I just got LR3 for Christmas, but have used LR2 and the beta version of LR3. It is very easy to use unlike CS5, but there are some limitations to LR3 when comparing the two. I hope to get CS5 in the near future and use LR3 as a bridge
