If so, they have just become collectors items. As of December 30th there will no longer be anywhere to get Kodachrome film processed - anywhere in the world. Hard to believe but true - after 75 years Kodak no longer makes the chemicals to process Kodachrome - the first color film that was commercialy available. I was late to the digital party, stubbornly continuing to shoot film until about 6 years ago. I can't say I miss it (for all the reasons you already know) but it is the passing of an important photographic era. Weird - no more little yellow boxes! Not to mention that Paul Simon must be really disappointed.
