    Milam County Bald Eagle

I was heading back from my place in San Gabriel and my daughter spotted this sitting in a tree. I didn't see it and and she started describing it and I had to turn around. First bald eagle I have seen in that area of Texas, pretty cool. This was the best shot that I got.

I'll have to look for them. San Gabriel isn't too far from me - about 45 minutes. That's pretty cool.

When we used to hunt north of Sterling City we used to stop at the nest off of HWY 29 before you get to Llano. The nest is huge. The 3 yrs that we went by there it had 3 Eagles nesting there.
