One evenin me and my buddy david decided to go to the same bow blind together in pursuit of his first bow kill. He had been shooting my bow consanstly and very well for the few weeks before this hunt. The deal was was if a big doe or spike came out he would shoot that, but if big muey grande walks out then hes passin that bow back to me! soo i had my release on just incase that happened! well feeder goes off 12 to 15 deer come in like a dinner bell just went off and sure shootin, big 7 in spike comes walkin in. David pulls back the bow gets set on him broadside and all of a sudden out of nowhere every single deer looks up for a spilt second from eating and looks right under us and just take off running. David lets down the bow looks at me and goes what happened. Then i hear right under us and to the right somethin walkin in.. There he was standin there with the west texas sun beamin on his tall heavy antlers. Thats when i tap davids leg sayin" Dude hand me the bow"! He looked at me and was like ya kidding me! haha he hands the bow over the big buck come walkin right up to my hand feed 20 yards broadside.. I smoke him right behind the shoulder best shot ive ever made in my life! It seemed like right when the arrow hit i heard david yell "Oh heck ya! The buck runs 40 yrds behind the feeder and next thing i know hes side steppin and fallin to the ground. We were ecstatic. High fivin and just dang happy! A week after this david went to the bow shop and bought him a bow haha and has had many bow kills since!
