    Canon lenses?

O.K. - so i'm the fossil that still likes taking pictures on film. I'm just now picking my camera up after ignoring it for too many years. My questions are these: Will a lens for an old Canon AE-1 Programmable work in a digital SLR camera? If not, does anyone have any old, large objective, lenses for said Canon? I'm trying to get back into photography and need a larger lens or two. I love the mystery of seeing what i've got when i get the film developed. Thanks so much...

You can find the old FD lens on ebay. There are some great deals on some fast glass to be had. I saw many 200mm 2.8 for around $75 - $100 the other day. If you still like film, it's a gold mine.

Digital is to film as microwave is to conventional oven. Sometimes it's worth it to cook a little slower.

Hey, wait a minute... you don't own a microwave, do you?

Further evidence of my fossilization. I've just used a microwave for the first time within the last month. I guess i'm a relic.

Thanks for the heads up on Ebay...
