Some of you might remember a few weeks ago I had listed my Canon in the classifieds since I rarely used it and was really more than I needed but I had a change of heart and instead of selling I bought a new lens. I ordered a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS from B&H a week ago last friday with fingers crossed that it would show up before my trip to Sonora last friday. Luckily it made it here about 15 minutes prior to us taking off. However due to the heat and the work we had on our plate I got to play with it very little. On my way home sunday I drove by the Wildlife Ranch which is about 5miles outside of Mason on 377 and decided to jump out and snap a few pictures - beautiful animals but I don't know how much of a hunt it would be -none of the animals I saw which included a number of rams, axis, red stag and elk showed any concern with me being so close.
