is there another alternative to photoshop i cant see paying that much for something i dont do as a living im also using a mac. I love taking pictures and i like trying to make them look better with my limited tools in iphoto i was just wondering if there is anything a little cheaper out there

I use paint.net it's free opensource and similar to ps from what I understand.Comment

GIMP is an AWESOME tool. Doesn't flow quite as well as PS in my opinion, but is capable of SO much.Comment

There's also Photoshop Elements, from Adobe. It's $79 right now for the latest version. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/
