i have a game camera that takes the same sd card as my digital "picture " camera (as you can tell i do not know anything about this field) i have just read something about a different class of sd card ... whats the difference ... i mean is the picture quality better with a different class of sd card or are they about the same?

Sandisk and Lexar are the two that I use. Other, cheaper cards, tend to become corrupted more easily. Some cameras won't even try to work with the cheap cards. If the camera actually writes to the card, picture quality won't differ, but you may not make it home with the pictures. Stick with those cards recommended by the camera manufacturer, or just stick with Sandisk.

I have sold into Sandisk before and it was explained the better ones have flash memory chips that will not fail statistically for a particular bit. For pictures it does not matter but if you store a program One bad bit and it may not execute.
I think the little sliders to lock them go bad on mine.
