Photo Editing - How to get this look?

I really like the look in the last couple of pictures posted here:

I have seen this bluish cast/vintage look on a lot of different shots, and it always catches my attention. Can it be done in lightroom? If so, how would i even begin get there?

I think, but I may be wrong, this is cross processing. Yes, you should be able to do this in lightroom.

It appears to me that possibly a blue gel was used over one background light. I don't think the blue could be done in pp because the white light would have been changed unless it's a method I know nothing about. I'd be interested to know the method as well.

Its all photoshop work. Cross processing, overlays, vingettes, temperature balance etc.

              Look into Lightroom presets.
They are similar to Photoshop Actions.

They are a set planned out order of actions that take place on your photo. I have made a few before.
They are supposed to simplify post processing.
