Casey, no problem telling what I paid. $200 an hour for 6 hours and no post processing work. I buy the media and he hands cards to me for processing. No, the unedit is 6mb. He shot it JPG fine with a 5D

WyoBull, he and I struck a deal on the post processing because I can do the post work (if it is not complete trash like his shots are). Also, he bought the media cards and I simply paid him for the media.

You need to original file to do any type of photo editing thats going to look worth a darn.
jpeg's are compressed to begin with......

Ugh, how am I just now seeing this?

Danny, I am so sorry that your pictures turned out this way, and even more for the guy being a jack---.

I would have done the same thing in your shoes, tell someone to shoot in RAW and give me the cards.

No doubt the quality in the photos are lacking, and that he made simple errors in his formatting, exposure, and just plain vision. Point and shoot to the max (For goodness sake he proved the point that the camera doesn't take the picture, I can't believe he shot those with a 5D?!?!)

          Sorry this happened to you.
If you need any help processing, let me know.

(This kind of crap just irritates me, so I can imagine how you feel)

Thanks Hillary and the others for help. I will be taking you up on it I promise! Any help or tips can't hurt.

How can this guy stay in business? Or, better question, is this what people consider quality? I know that most don't get to see the "un-editted version but come on, if you are a "professional" don't gorilla shoot and then process. At least shoot RAW!!!!!!! if you do.

Stacie said to let it go. So, being the good husband that I am being trained to do. I am letting it go.

            NOT!!!!!!

Unfortunately, there is only so much post processing you can do with jpg and every time you touch it you lose some quality. Had the initial quality been alright you could have tweaked a little and been okay but RAW is the only way to go and my my rule of thumb is, if you think you might want to do anything at all with the photo you are taking other than posting a small version on the web, by all means shoot it in RAW.

Wildman, why don't you post the originals on Flickr and let some of us have a stab at them? You will need to set them so they can be downloaded.

I am no expert but some of these folks could probably pull some nice images out for you.

That's not all that's wrong with the photos....

Don't be so hard on yourself -- at least you talked her into marrying you.

Seriously, sorry that it turned out like this....

Court and I have a few shots that we'll send to you -- we were obviously not shooting during the ceremony, but may be able to give you a few decent shots from around the event.

That guy in the middle looks alot like Chuck!

Nah, that chuck feller is way smarter lookin' than that dude.

It's a shame about the pics Danny. But in any case Stacie was radiant. You looked OK too.
