I am on land but just as well be the same as most wild animals here are scared for their life as they will kill and eat most anything down here....

I am no where near pro level, I just started shooting a few weeks ago!!!! I got lucky on that shot, I wish I knew how I over exposed the sky to the point it was white yet the bird stayed totally focused and composed???? Couldn't do it again to save my life......

I will be thinking of a new subject and will post tomorrow, the next one should run till 12th right???

Jaspro, The building is on the square in Denton. It's an old building for sure. There are several buildings on the square that are quite old. And Denton has one of the coolest courthouses in Texas. I don't know what the building was originally, but wikipedia has an old map of Denton from 1883 and that building is on there. Looks like it might have been a little more ornate originally. But, the map doesn't list was the building originally housed.

About the picture, it was taken after the last snow. That morning the temp was about 28 degrees with wind gusts up to 30mph from the north. The slant of the roof protected the birds from the wind where they were.
