    Full Frame vs. Crop Sensor

What are the differences, other than the obvious (50mm lens = 75mm on crop camera)? Is there a huge benefit to a full frame camera? I am starting to dream about an upgrade, but want to do my research 110%. Strongly thinking about a D90, which I think is all I would ever need, but realized I never even considered full frame. Not a huge fan of the size or the price tag, but if it is worth saving for then I will think about it. Plan on this to be the last camera I buy for quite a few years.

The D700 makes me drool, but I can't see paying that much for a body, at this point in my photo "journey"
I have the D90 and I take, what I think, are some pretty decent pictures from it. I don't think I could talk myself into the price tag of a full frame unless I was touching on the professional aspect of photography. But that is just me.

(Not that I would refuse one if I found a good deal)

I did plan ahead in my purchasing, I bought lenses that are made for a full frame, excluding the tokina 11-16, which I purchased knowing that if I got a full frame sensored camera I would have that lens on the D90 for a backup second camera.

All-in-all, if you have the cash, and are serious about one, by all means purchase away! From what I hear it is a stellar switch.

I won't let myself look through the eye piece of a full frame just because of that fact.

I would love one. It would be great just for bragging to my friends who are also into this photo thing. Other than bragging I don't see myself having a reason its not like it is going to take better pictures. It may be better at landscape due lack of sensor crop.
