I decided on the Canon XSI and chose to go with the 70-300 IS USM lens as my first lens, I am now looking at the 50mm 2.8 lens for some low nightime and wide angle shots....

nice! so how has that 70-300 worked out for ya?! cause i was thinkin about gettin one my self, can you zoom in pretty good and still have a good sharp image quality with it? thanks!

I am new to this but that lens will get out there, I will say that you will get the best clarity on a tripod....

Do a search on here for this lens, someone posted a link where there were a ton of shots from this lens, there were some great shots on that link from thislens and that is what made me decide on buying it!!!!
