    Canon or Nikon?

I do alot of hunting and alot of picture taking outdoors on the side which is my passion, i have been looking at cameras an ive always had Canons and they have always been good to me but im looking to get a higher end camera that i can take professional quality pictures with. Ive looked at the Canon Rebel T1i 15mp EOS and it looks like it would be a great camera and ive looked at the Nikon D90 as well too whichh seems like a great camera and was just wanting some advice from all you great outdoor photographers as to what i should go with because im always taking outdoor photos and i want a camera that takes crystal clear photos that are professional quality and would love some input from yall! thanks so much and hope to hear from yall soon!

I would look at the Canon 7d with good lenses. It is an awesome camera. It also depends on what you are looking to spend.

I have the Canon Rebel T1i and its a great camera. The lenses are what will get you. They can get very expensive for good glass.

Canon vs Nikon - flip a coin. You're basically buying a system.

Canon Rebel vs Nikon D90 - apples to oranges. Between the two, I'd pick the D90 hands down.

what type of lenses do you use for your T1i when you take your pictures outdoors and wildlife? and are the pictures you take with the T1i pretty sharp?

I have the D90 and no complaints here.

One of the nice bonus features that I like is the True HD Video that it takes.

This camera makes me a better photographer.

A great lens for outdoors but pricey is Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Autofocus Lens. L series are wonderful. You just have to decide how far of shots you will be taking with the camera.

probably more people on the green screen that shoot Canon than any other brand

Ford or Chevy... Whatever floats your boat. There's no real difference aside from user interfaces.

I prefer Nikon, but I seriously doubt there's any appreciable photo quality difference.

Go to a camera store and fondle both brands. The controls are not in the exact same locations. One of the brands will feel right. Just like a bow.

Can't go wrong really with either one. Both are great cameras. I shoot a Nikon so therefore by default they are in my book better:-) The lens is the part that can really make a clear, sharp pic. For those, there are alot of brands to look at, but again, canon and nikon are probably the top choices.
