Lighting Seminar

I've been playing with strobes since Gerald recommended and I read Minimalist Lighting. Now some person to person instruction. Only 3 to 5 people will be there and he's hiring models for the afternoon. Can't wait.

Please pass along the cool stuff Bill! I've been toying with the idea of buying a few remote flash units. My flash goal this year is single focused....I want to catch a few skimming Split Tailed bats winging over the Guadalupe River. I found a spot that is perfect late fall....they buzz by the dozens on skim and the bank is perfect for light setups. I need the gear to pull the shot off and I'm shopping around for that now. Not sure how it's gonna work out...but I'm gonna give it a whirl.

Great, great disappointment! We drove to Allen yesterday and checked in at the hotel (too late to cancel) hoping for the best. I had started to feel a little bad on Thursday and didn't feel very good yesterday. I started loosing my voice yesterday and it was worse this morning. Pretty sure it's the flu the way I feel. With deep regret I called Paco this morning and told him the situation. He was very understanding and will be doing this again. We drove back home this morning after traveling to spend the night in Allen.
