Canon ETTL flash controler

I am going to purchase some flash equiptment. I looked at the strobist kits with radio controlled flashes which seem pretty nice but is the canon speed light and ettl better since it is able to adjust its self. Via the flash adaptor.

Just shopping for opinions befroe I go off the deep end.

I have reserched many diffrent methods and have no clear winner. I cant decide TTL regular.

Well I went ahead and bought one to try. I guess if it dosnt work I will resell it

I have a Sigma BG 500 Super that's ETTL also. I researched a lot (and know very little) about flashes. Consensus is the Sigma flashes are very comparable to the Canons, but half the price.

I will buy a sigma flash. What I bought was the controller for off camera flash. Instead of using a speed light to control them.
