    Nikon question

Ive always had pretty cheap cameras but last night I bought a Nikon L100 cool pix camera and I love it. I know theres better but this is by far the best camera ive owned. Heres my rookie question. Can I buy different lenses for this camera? Didnt see anything about it in the owners manuel but thought id ask. Thanks in advance

    Sweet New Camera.

And, I am about 90% sure that you cannot buy different lenses for it, it looks to have a fixed lens.
It's gonna give you great pictures, looks like a great camera.
    Congrats.

Now go take some pictures for us to see!

Hillary is correct, there aren't any lenses you can "buy" for it. Most, if not all digital zoom point/shoot cameras have a set of fixed optics. They do however, offer SERIOUS zooms (15x on this one I believe), so if you have a good tripod, you could take really nice 10mp pictures up to 400mm

Just because you can't buy a lens for this camera, don't think it's not capable of great pictures (although reading your post, I don't think your feeling that way). I purchased one of Russell Grave's books when I purchased my XSi, but it also helped a lot when I have a point and shoot in my hands as well. It's more geared towards DSLR cameras, but you can take a whole lot from it either way. Actually, I'm amazed at some people who post here with advanced P & S cameras similar to yours, that can really take some GREAT photos!
