    Windmill

We built a new cabin at our lease today. This is the last pic I took this afternoon as we were leaving. I just thought it looked pretty cool. I am very much the beginner at photography, so please tell me whats wrong/right with the pic. It was shot with a Canon SX10IS.

Nice photo - I would have framed the windmill in the right 1/3 of the screen.

Regarding form, I would look up "composition" in art especially painting and drawing. Rule of 3rds and using available line to draw your eye through the frame or into it further.

Some good advice on here, but great shot.

Awesome picture. I have the same camera and I really like it. What were your settings? I wonder if a polarizing filter would help the sky pop a little more. I found a link to a website that sells a filter bracket for that camera if you are interested.
