    Which DSLR Lens for Video?

I have a Nikon D810 and use it to video my and my daughters hunts.

Which lens are y’all using for your videos?

I have the following to choose from:

    70-200 f2.8
    24-70 f2.8
    14-24 f2.8
    50mm f1.8
    18-300mm f3.5 - 6.3

If not any of these, what would you recommend?

    Use the prime.

I’ve used the 24-70 previously but always lacked the zoom I wanted. Trying the 28-300 today.

It depends on what you need. Do you need a longer lens for more zoom, or do you need low light capabilities, or.....?

I used the 18-300mm f3.5 - 6.3 and that seemed to it what I needed. I was worried about having enough light, but it worked fine.

I had been using the 24-70 f2.8 but it didn't have enough zoom at times, like when trying to video the deer as it ran off after the shot, etc. It also took up a lot of room in the pop up with me and my daughter in there...
