    Recording your Hunts

Just picked up a Canon XL2 video camera yesterday. I have been wanting to record our hunts for a while and also make a couple short videos of some of the products that we have and came across a deal I couldn't pass up. Going out on the 29th for some fox, coyote, coon, hogs and whatever else we can call up with the Foxpro. So I have some time to get familiar with camera before taking it out. Does anyone have any tips or anything that will help me out. Thanks

Post some videos when you get done so we can check out what that thing can do.

                  Going out this weekend

Leaving today around 2 to see what we can get into. It will probably take me a few weeks to make a video because I'm learning Adobe Premier CS6 while I'll be editing the video.

Always use manual focus not auto, always have extra batteries, use a quality tripod/tree arm, have enough tapes/memory available, keep your lens clean, a remote comes in handy, and push the record button.
