Any advice appreciated.

1. How do you view your LCD screen in bright light, particularly for quick target acquisition? My Sony 500 blacks out completely, till you get a bit of shade on it. Not so easy while your trying to draw...

2. Has anyone tried mounting a camera to their shotgun for dove? if so, what kind and how did you mount?

Pictures or detailed instructions appreciated.

Getting good video as the sole operator of both camera & gun/bow is a matter of hours of practice, being familiar with your equipment of both camera and gun/bow and having the right equipment to execute the shots that you are trying to capture with both camera and gun/bow.
As to mounting your camera on your gun, there are several brackets made just for this but compact camera technology has advanced so much that people are now using miniatures for self recording.
As to your VF question can you adjust your brightness on your lcd screen? If not just tape a card board shade over your VF to keep the sun out. If you want to buy a VF shade look at HOODMAN products online.
