Can anyone post a video that you've made so we can get a little insight on what kind of videos can be made with the different softwares?

Thanks! At the time of this posting Amazon is selling Pinnacle Studio HD 15 for $57.24. You can probably find earlier versions cheaper.

Avid Liquid. Good software but it locks up a lot causing you to have to reboot. I would go with Soney Vegas Pro for a PC. Not cheap but it is a good program.

Here is a video I did with Avid Liquid. Footage was filmed with a Cannon HV30.

I know this is an old thread, but how many MB's do you average per minute of video? I'm having an issue where exporting the files to be uploaded to Youtube or elsewhere are huge. It's either that or i use a smaller resolution and get blurry video when blown up.

Or what formats do you export the videos to? I've played around but can't get the quality and file size i need. I'm sure I'll have to sacrifice one over the other.

Cyberlink power director 9 is simple and fast program. I highly recommend it for a beginner. But it is no beginners software. I know two editors that use it for hunting shows on both the pursuit channel and fox sports south.

I personally use Final Cut Pro X for editing, clipwrap, magic bullet for color correction, and compressor. Once you start editing it gets in your blood. Good luck and have fun with it.

You need a good compression software. What kind of computer do you have and what are it's limits?

                              It's Windows 7, 64-bit, 4GB RAM, and 2.7 Ghz processor.

Is this software separate from the software you're using to create the videos?

What would you recommend for someone on a budget of $0? lol I don't do much, so I hate to spend money on software I will rarely use.
