    Luckiest slick in Lohn.

This is from yesterday in Lohn.

I had every intention of taking a couple of the older Doe on this place yesterday... but this one particular *#@$ head spent all morning running them off the corn.

4 point(was on the to-go list anyway), kept chasing the Doe off the corn everytime I'd get one in frame and prepare to shoot.

After about 40 minutes of this, He got bumped to the top of the list.

He was even dumb(or hungry) enough to come back 2nds about 5 minutes later... licking his now bare back

Missed 2nd shot low..... Sorry, but that video clip is kinda R rated.

I'll give him the first miss, nice clean duck...still scratching my head on the 2nd. Used same yardage setting as the previous shot, but held right on the "white paint", arrow seemed to take an immediate nose dive, maybe got a little contact from the mesh?

    First miss. high

    2nd miss....low, of course.

I did the same thing today except on hogs and in the reverse order. Shot under it the first time, then skinned it's back the second time.

It happens to the best of us. Keep pluggin away!

          LOL

Think next time out, I'm just gonna leave the camera at camp. Too distracting, trying to make sure everything is just right.

          He'll be back....one last time.

Edit: By the way Mike, that's probably the spot you're gonna sit.

Great video!!! You can actually see hair flying all over and see the cut on his back on the 2nd video.

Don't shoot through mesh. The ocillations of the arrow leaving your bow may be hitting the mesh at different times and thus you may be getting the "high" and "nose dive" shots. The same happend to me a couple of seasons ago .... only my shot went high. Shooting Magnus Stingers. I will never shoot through mesh again.

                          Yep

When watching those videos with out the Youtube frame loss, it is very apparent their was some outside influence on arrow flight. More so on the 2nd shot... arrow takes an immediate nose dive.
