    camera mount question

hunting from a tripod with no railing, is there a mount for this scenario? Or would this be DIY build?

I don't believe I'll have a tree close enough to the platform for a arm type of mount, I was thinking of maybe making some type of bar that extends from the platform that I could attach the arm to. but I also don't want to have the reinvent the wheel if there is already something out there like that.

I had the same problem, I found a Manfrotto magic arm and super clamp Can be seen by CLICKING HERE

Then, I welded a small piece of tubing to the frame of the chair on my tri-pod and I clamp the super clamp to the square tubing.... Works out pretty well!!!

FYI, I found the arm and super clamp here on TBH for half that price, so you may want to look for some used gear

I just bought a Midland camera that comes with a fitting where you screw in the stabilizer. I've tested it and it works good so I'm hands free. I haven't used it yet for a kill but will after Christmas.

Here's the link showing the screw in clamp for the camera. I'll post a link to the camera next. You can also attach the camera to bikes, ATVs, and hats.you can buy a entire kit system.
