I have a 7d with some different lens choices. I am starting to use the video alot more. My question to you guys is, what do I do.
Choice 1. Buy a external mic, and viewfinder for the 7d, which would run around 600 for both..
Or
Choice 2. Buy a decent 700-1000 HD video camera something similar to what HOGDUDE uses, and not have to buy the other stuff.
Choice 2 is more expensive, generally a little easier to use.
Choice 1 is cheaper, I don't have to spend as much money, and the video on the 7D is pretty amazing. I will be using the video on more than just hunting is why I am leaning towards choice 1.
Has anyone used similar setups, if so whats yours?? If not what to suggest?
