Man, that big red patch on the radar is just streaming right up the middle of Liberty county and hammering us!! Something happened to my rain gauge out on the pole in the back yard... It stopped working at 22.7" about an hour ago, and the rain rate is saying 0.0... it's been pouring here for the whole time, probably 3-4"/hour... When it stopped total was 33.69" since noon Friday... The way it's raining right now, I'd bet we're crowding 40"!!
This ain't fun no more! So far, the house is still sitting high an dry on this little island in the middle of 30 acres of pasture that looks like East Bay!

North of Conroe, San Jac is WELL over its bank. Where it crosses highway 30 west of Hunstville, water is clear over the guard rails. There may not even be a bridge left when the water subsides

Looks like we are finally catching a little break over here so I'm gonna try and get some sleep. These winds over here were intense and a bit unexpected.

Still dumping north of yall. Bedias has been receiving 1 to 3" per hour for the last 24 hours. All that water is headed downstream. Even college station is flooded

Lake Conroe has increased release rate to 73,201. My daughter lives off 2854 and she told me the news they were watching at work ( Fox 26) had fire chief on saying they were evacuating her subdivision and they had two hours to get out.
She works at Texas Children's and they have her crew on 24/7 because of the weather situation. She called me about 30 minutes ago freaking out because she cannot get there in time.

This is coming off county radio in my truck about 440am
Think 99 is closed at the river as well
