I did hear an interview from the Port Arkansas Mayor that he had officially been notified of 8 fatalities in their area. He sure kept telling those reporters to not be getting his people upset and report the facts only.

Yeah the 2 bands look like they are starting to come together on the sw side of Houston and swirling up. Had a break for a bit but it's coming again. Stay safe over there

Tropical Weather Threat For Texas

It's a nightmare..
This is roughly 8 feet higher than last years crest.
This is projected level due to the storm surge and project rainfall.. I sure hope they are wrong..
