      Good luck Sippy.
Learn from what the tracks are telling you WHEN you miss one.

Trapper76, the dang buzzards just now found that hog I left lying several days ago. I guess the majority are down south, now.
Even the Caracas hadn't hit the carcass!

Single coyote barking his head off in the neighbor's right now.

Thought I was about to get lucky

Red is trap, blue arrow is T-bone, yellow is catch circle.
Think the fact that the trap was set when wind was out of the N (right side of pic) might have saved this one from a pinched paw

Usually don't get within 30yds of trap when checking but this evening I wanted to check the one above a little closer. Trap was sprung in bed
So I reset, found a few tufts of what I am guessing was possum fur in bed and on jaws

Hopefully another coyote will stroll by and get caught

Going to have to wind down up here a bit.
Snow is kicking our butts frankly. Winds is causing drifts we are tired of digging out of.
Got stuck 3 times in the Ranger this weekend and another time in the truck going out.

Caught my first snared bobcat though and could not be happier. Big thanks to our mentor Forrest, RIP sir and thanks for the snares.
Spouse informed me after the catch that I had the support and snare not set correctly, but it worked, lol.
Caught him after he came back on the same trail he took the opposite way last weekend. Another set of tracks along the same creek got another snare set , so we'll see.
He weighed 25 lbs and has great spots and fur, hoping he stretches close to 40 inches but probably more like 38" or so.

Some snowy pic for your enjoyment.
Double set of coil springs under the tree, my bob walked right under on the frozen creek.
Draws are drifted in so some sets had to get pulled.

1st three pics are the draw my bobcat came out of .
Next is a draw we had sets in but got drifted out. Spouse is pulling a set in the 4th pic.
Nice warm house to stay in on the last pic.
