I'd ask how much it costs to shoot a deer like that but I've kicked myself plenty enough for quitting law school to become a lowly teacher. Awesome deer.

Probably not as much as you think...everyone has big deer these days and prices on a 200" deer are not what they were 10-15 yrs ago.

              This^^

I don't have a clue, but I saw a 200+ wild deer 20ish years ago and looked up what it would cost to go kill one, it was close to 20K at the time. Friend ended up killing him a fee weeks later, 234". I bet it can be done for less than half that now.

That's about right. A lot of factors go into it but I've seen some giant deer sold for about 1/3 of the 20k you mentioned. When you factor in lease fees, feed bill, blinds, campers/loding etc most folks could go stay in a nice lodge eat amazing food and be catered to for 3-5 and come home with a huge deer for less than they put into that 120" 8 pt the end up shooting. But it's a different experience and most folks prefer doing a lease.

Thank you. His beams and mass surprised me. and the fact he just kept putting on the inches from the first time I post pics. An over achiever for sure.
