Money can't buy good genetics like that!

      Wow. Drop.
It is either crippled up or a doe.

I think he got hit by a car - probably led to those jacked up antlers, and the scarring on his hams.

That was my first thought as well. I’d let him walk and see what he does. No reason to kill him.

Its a gamble but I would leave if he seems in good health. Like others said, something happened to him. He prob broke his antlers off in velvet and thats what came back.

He says in the OP it’s due to injury. Genetics has nothing to do with it.

If bodily injuries look permanent, drop.

If they look like they can heal, pass.

I think he lost his boy parts when the truck hit him. No point in passing him if there is someone that wants him.

                      skim him on general principle.

Kill him. Don't want any of those genes passed on.

                            What genes? The dumb genes?

I got some more pictures the last few days and I think those that indicated he may have been hit by a car or something are correct. Almost looks like his right front leg is broken, but he seems to be making it over the feeder pen just fine. No pictures of him putting weight on that front leg.

I'd keep him one more year to see what happens. Could be a cool freak.
