I mixed my seed, 50lbs IC peas, 10 lbs Sunn Hemp and 6 lbs sunflowers. I quit buying the food plots in the bag, half of what is in the mix wont grow or take the heat in my area.

I may work on some later this week if it doesnt rain too much. Planning to do about 40 acres this spring but I don’t know if I will get it all done.

I need to get cranking on mine, Was waiting to make sure temps would hold steady and for it to dry out some. Got to start shredding and plowing soon.

Good looking prep Jeff ! I'm about to start with some lime in a couple new plots on our lease, but I'm gonna let the wheat percolate a little while before I turn it under and plant my peas. Probably planting my spring plots about the last of April when the ground warms reliably.

I have got green dewberries showing up, I should be good unless we get lots of rain and temps below 50 degrees for a long spell.(Which is quite possible) Lots of corn planted already, around here. I seen some about two inches tall near Kosciusko.

Diet beer Lone Star light. I cant drink regular Lone Star reds anymore, they hang on your belly right quick.

I will go tomorrow and see what's up, and post pics. Crossing fingers for rain, already had some 80 degree days. Getting dry around here, still feeding hay.

How many years / how many times have you been discing that patch? Looks like pretty good dirt.
Do you do anything about hard panning?
