Yeah the other one we call slim. I honestly thought he wasn't going to make through last winter because he was so skinny. It looks like he's going to be about a 12 pointer this year and he is looking really good.

Ha it's kind of funny you ask that! I'd like to know what made you ask?
I just put that gravity feeder there about 8 months ago because I wanted to try to separate the bucks to see if they would get along better. I had two of my big bucks killed last year from fighting.
So I put in a timed protein feeder where this one used to be and moved this one to the far north side of the property. As far as I can tell that seems to be doing the trick. I seem to see some of the same buck always coming to this feeder and others regularly going to the other one.
I hope that answers your question?

My deer eat out of mine but it just seems to take forever to get them going on it.

Well I have had a corn feeder there for years and not much sun light gets through there. I can tell you it took months for them to start eating out of the timed feeder when I put it in. They had been eating out of this one for years so they just took right to it even though I changed its location.

Following.
Also, one month into the new lease and two weeks of having cameras up. I've been told this area is way behind others on antler growth. I'm just happy to have bucks on camera this soon into a new place. It never was that quick on my old lease.
