He's close. If you want to take him, I would take him. I took a "Wildlife & Recreation Management" class in high school, and we had a game warden come in for us to ask him questions. My question was what happens if you kill a deer that's 12.5" or 12.75"? He said that they weren't worried about half inches and quarter inches, they were worried about people killing 10" deer. With that being said, I'm sure it all depends on the game warden (unfortunately).

I'd pass on him. I just passed on one just like him a few weeks ago, hard to let them walk sometimes but I think it was the right thing to do, at least in my case.
