Someone killed one and did a cut down to show where the vitals are on a pig

Pic has been around for a while but it would not hurt if someone posted it every week

Very interesting... though I've double lunged pigs further back than that. Not saying this is wrong by no means. Thanks for sharing. Or maybe I'm getting the back of lungs and liver. Heck you have me second guessing everything now.

The heart does sit low in the chest cavity for sure---

I'd like to see the same thing done with an axis--everyone tells me their vitals are farther forward than a whitetail's.

People claim that with them and African game but it's not really true. The lungs just don't extend back as far it's not that anything is further forward

I've always like to shoot into the shoulder or "V" on everything

Quartering shot is my favorite on pigs they don't go far and I've killed some bruiser boars
